Updated: Jun 15, 2018

So you’ve tried various sex toys and have a general idea of what you like, we’ve put together these tips to help you get the most out of your money whilst expanding your collection.

Ask yourself these two questions, what do you like about the toys that you’ve used before? And what else do you want from a new toy?

Maybe your collection consists of battery operated toys. Changing batteries can be a hassle, especially when you find yourself searching your house for spare ones, raiding the TV remote. With the introduction of USB chargers for all your gadgets, it has never been easier to recharge your toys around the house, work, car or on the go. Some people don’t want to spend much money on their first toy, but now that you know what you like and want out of your new toys, you can invest in something that’s of higher quality. Whilst a rechargeable toy may be a more expensive investment, over time, the lack of battery requirement may save you money.

More Speeds

Our simple bullet vibrator has one speed function, which is great for beginners or for keeping in your handbag. Many of our toys come with multiple speeds, letting you up the ante.

Different Vibrating Patterns

As with the introduction of more speeds, higher quality toys often come with a selection of vibrating patterns for you to explore.

Many beginners are intimidated by bigger toys, so choose to start off with something smaller. If you feel you can take on more than what your current toys can give you, it may be time to invest in a toy with greater length and/or girth. Remember to check the insertable length, as the full length usually incorporates the handle and controls.

Something Different

Variety is the spice of life, even the best toy in the world is going to get boring if you are using it every day. The best thing you can do is to have a variety of toys in your collection; we advise that you have both clitoral and penetrative toys for you to enjoy. It is always handy to have a couple of smaller toys that you can carry with you on holidays or weekend trips, whilst keeping your larger toys at home. Different materials can change the feel of your toy and therefore stimulate your senses in an alternate way; whilst toys with different functions, like heating, rotating heads or function rotation, can create additional experiences for you to enjoy.
